چکیده
Vibrio alginolyticus is responsible for significant economic losses in the fish industry. It urgent to develop a vaccine against V. alginolyticus. In this study, recombinant Lactococcus lactis expressing VscO protein of (Lc-pMG36e-vscO) constructed. The Lc-pMG36e-vscO has good hereditary stability. immune responses pearl gentian grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus (♀) × E. lanceolatu (♂)) vaccinated with are evaluated. titers specific antibody immunized displayed an upward and then downward tendency during total experiments reached peak value 9.6 at fourth week after booster immunization. expression levels IL-1β, IL-16, TNF-α, MHC-1α gene group were significantly upregulated vaccination, indicating that could induce effective durable response. vivo challenge Lc-pMG36e-vscO-immunized showed relative survival percentage 68%. These results indicated be promising as candidate oral

Lactococcus lactis as a live delivery vector
Mucosal surfaces of the body provide a universal entry portal for all known and emerging infectious pathogenic microbes. Therefore, it seems that special vaccination strategies are needed for vaccines that can hinder the entry capability of pathogenic microbes through the mucosal surfaces. Lactic acid bacteria are widely used in the food industry and are presently applied as delivery vehicles i...

Bovine tuberculosis (TBB) is a zoonotic disease distributed worldwide and is of great importance for public health and the livestock industry. Several experimental vaccines against this disease have been evaluated in recent years, yielding varying results. An example is the Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccine, which has been used extensively in humans and tested in cattle showing mixed resul...
متن کاملConstruction and evaluation of a safe, live, oral Vibrio cholerae vaccine candidate, IEM108.
IEM101, a Vibrio cholerae O1 El Tor Ogawa strain naturally deficient in CTXPhi, was previously selected as a live cholera vaccine candidate. To make a better and safer vaccine that can induce protective immunity against both the bacteria and cholera toxin (CT), a new vaccine candidate, IEM108, was constructed by introducing a ctxB gene and an El Tor-derived rstR gene into IEM101. The ctxB gene ...
متن کاملConstruction of vaccine from Lactococcus lactis bacteria using Aeromonas hydrophila virulent Aerolysin gene
In this study the forward and reverse primers were designated to amplify the segments (~250 bps and ~650 bps) of the gene coding domains 1 and 4 of aerolysin of Aeromonas hydrophila. These two domains are involved in pathogenesis of the aerolysin gene. Sequences for two restriction enzymes, Pst I and Hind III, were included in the forward and reverse primers respectively. These restriction enz...
